Recruitment and jobs in the entertainment sector

Much of my employment centered around the entertainment sector where I worked for many years. A driving force was the 70’s decade. My children often ask me why you do not forget those old days and enjoy the present. You are not employed in the jobs industry anymore.I tell them that present is just a shadow of that exciting decade. Stagnation is death and today we find very little or slow change in fashion and dresses. But when we talk about 70’s; it was amazing as every other day the fashion and dress trends were changing. It was impossible to keep pace with the latest fashion and dress trends and changes. And, you know the other name of life is change. So, 70’s was full of life and youth.

One of the good things about the change was how it affected fancy dress for women. Everything was acceptable. You did not have to reject something for the fear of what people would say. You could wear everything and anything or even nothing, and people would accept that as a fancy dress. You could wear dresses covering minimum possible parts of your body or dresses which covered you from head to toe and even the face was not visible or recognizable. Women introduced and loved to wear mini dresses and skin tight dresses in those days.

This all was possible as parties and fancy dress events increased. People became more and more social and as they started earning more money due to the industrial boom, they wanted to spend. So, they spent on fashion and lifestyle. 70s Fancy dress parties became a regular event and every member of the family made huge efforts to prepare a fancy dress which could be better than others. In the beginning people prepared the fancy dresses at home, but the 70’s also saw a boom in the fancy dress industry and the dresses were introduced at industrial level. I was a teen ager at that time and I have more than thirty fancy dresses. Out of these thirty fancy dresses, twenty are those which I bought during the marvelous 70’s.
